This is a restaurant with Creole dishes, on the outskirts of Medellin, exactly on the North Highway km 20, 051040 Copacabana (Antioquia) . At Cocorollo they serve large portions and they have an incredible flavor, when I arrived at this place I knew I was going to eat well, since several paisas had already recommended me to go to this place.
My one-eyed rooster
When I saw the menu I was tempted by everything they prepare in this place, from huge chicken and pork pies to grilled meats, in other words, my mouth was watering. In the end I decided on the following dishes from the menu:
The starter was a freshly baked pandebono, hot and crispy. The main course was a mixed arepa with shredded meat and chicken dripping with hogao' guacamole, simply delicious. There is no doubt that Cocorollo knows how to cook. As a drink, a lemon and lychee flavored water (highly recommended), truly one of the best I have tried so far. I was so full that I didn't have enough room for dessert.
Rating: 8.9 I think it's worth going to Copacabana to enjoy the delicacies they cook at Cocorollo
